Feng Shui is Subtle but Packs a Punch

Updated: Dec 30, 2022

Every journey in life needs guideposts and just like everything else in life, you get out of Feng Shui what you put into it. This practice is not a gimmick or something you use once or twice and then sit back and wait for the winning lottery ticket to be in your hand. Feng Shui is a complex practice with many layers and enables you to see beneath the surface of your environment, understand how your environment affects you, and rearrange your life on a whole new level.

Feng Shui may be complex, but for a good reason. In China where it originated homes were built with intention. When Feng Shui was brought to light, over 4,000 years ago, people took into consideration where the sun rose, where the sunset was, the situation or positioning of the home, and the land around it. As I watch buildings being constructed and homes renovated with the latest aesthetic trends, the intention behind these structures has been lost, which is the most important aspect of Feng Shui.

If you are building from the ground up, you not only have the opportunity to build your dream home but have the opportunity to orientate the house with the sun, have your floor plans be supportive to all occupants, and be supportive of nature. You can work with the builder (and your consultant-Adrienne Thatcher) to make sure you and the builder have the right degrees.

If you are settled where you are, most of us are, you can set your intentions from within your home, using the energy in the most powerful ways. Feng Shui influences a number of areas in our life, which allows you to analyze each one. As you stand in an area of your home, or living area, you may notice how it's mirrored by the energy in that part of your home.

Feng Shui is subtle not an overnight cure with immediate results. However, trusting the process will result in positive and permanent life-changing results.

As the energy shifts in your home, you will feel happier, and become more magnetic to abundance, pleasure, love, and success for all occupants in the home. Feng Shui will become like a trusted old friend, an invaluable resource of wisdom and inspiration that will simply give you a new way of seeing your life

In conclusion, whether you are just starting out with Feng Shui or have been practicing for a while, consider Feng Shui as an investment in your future. It leads you to new discoveries, knowledge, and more of what you really want and need in life.

All for now and Happy Shui’in

Love,

Adrienne
