Why focus on the outside of your home? Because with Feng Shui you can determine the quality of the energy ( Chi ) that affects you by observing the external environment. What you can see as you come and go from one place to another effect you energetically and emotionally.

Feng Shui Room by Room: Living Rooms and Hallways

The living room exists for relaxation, guest reception, and social interaction. In general, the living room is a reflection of our family life. It should be comfortable, well lit.

If the living room is visible from the front door and/or hall or entryway, peace and comfort greet you as you arrive home. A living room situated in the front of the home is positive.
However, living rooms also fit well in other areas of the home, like in the center of the home.

Your Personal Trigram

In the theory of Feng Shui, since all of us are born in different years, we are assigned with different properties that are favorable or unfavorable for us. Those born in the same year are further classified by male or female.

By using a special formula, an individual based on birthyear and gender, is assigned to one of the Eight Trigrams. This is called a Personal Trigram.

Salt Water Cure

Did you know that salt is a crystal and has the ability to absorb and transmute negative energies. It's used in different Feng Shui applications such as space clearings and the traditional salt water cure.

A salt water cure is a remedy you can add to any part of your home that you feel has added negative energy. It's a Feng Shui tool which can remove negative energies from your house throughout the year.

In Feng Shui, a wealth vase (also known as a wealth jar) is a container filled with valuable objects that can be used strategically to invite and accumulate energy or chi.

The purpose of a wealth vase is to receive and hold wealth and prosperity.
